Parkour (sometimes also abbreviated to PK) or l'art du déplacement (English: the art of moving)  is a physical discipline of French origin in which participants run along a route, attempting to negotiate obstacles in the most efficient way possible, as if moving in an emergency situation, using skills such as jumping and climbing, or the more specific parkour moves. The obstacles can be anything in one's environment, but parkour is often seen practiced in urban areas because of many suitable public structures that are accessible to most people, such as buildings and rails.

You must have seen parkour in Casino Royale and closer home, you must have seen Akshay Kumar in the Thumbs Up ad doing parkour. Even you can learn Parkour if you happen to live in Mumbai or its nearby areas. Parkour Mumbai conducts the Parkour classes in Mumbai and has just celebrated its 1st anniversary.

As of now there are 20 students with new students joining every month. The parkour classes are conducted considering that you are a beginner and have no earlier experience. So you don't have to worry if you think that you are not fit for the classes. In the classes you will be taught many exercises that will increase your physical fitness which is good for your health. All the necessary precautions are taken so that you will never get injured. You will be practising on crash mats so you dont have to fear about hurting yourself.
